About the Role

The Senor Superintendent is responsible to ensure operational excellence of TEAM Construction through Program Management. In addition to all Superintendent Position requirements, this distinguished Title permits the oversight and management of TEAM Specific Programs. The Senior Superintendent will ensure all Superintendents at TEAM are uniform in their approach from project startup through project completion. Senior Superintendents will provide Program updates to the Lead Superintendent as well as collaborate and coordinate with adjacent Programs to maximize uniformity within TEAM’s field structure.

Moreover, the Senior Superintendent will train and mentor Project Engineers as well as coordinate Job Specific Program needs with Estimating, Finish Department and Project Managers. This is not intended to be an all-encompassing document and may not include everything that is required of this position based on the needs of TEAM Construction.

Requirements

Senior Superintendents are required to understand all Program specific requirements and responsibilities listed below:

 

Safety Program:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the TEAM Safety program.

  • Develop and provide focused provide training to Superintendents and TEAM Construction that establishes clear direction and responsibility with respect to Pre-task Planning, Document Review, Site enforcement and Data Logging

  • Ensure through site inspections and coordination meetings, that the Project Team’s plan to safety perform site activities are coordinated and realized during the preconstruction phase, as well as scheduled.

  • Ensure that all safety documentation such as TBT and JHA are accounted for in Foreman and Internal Meetings. 

  • All preplanned activities are to be approved prior to commencement of activities requiring a JHA or Activity Specific plan outlined in TEAM’s Safety Program.

  • Enforce and maintain TEAM’s Safety Culture and Program on all projects.

 

Preconstruction & Activity Preplanning:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the TEAM Preconstruction program.

  • Develop and provide focused training to Superintendents and TEAM Construction that establishes clear direction and responsibility with respect to Activity Pre-Planning, Document/Logistic Plan Review, Site setup Quality Control and Data Logging.

  • Ensure through site inspections and coordination meetings, that the Project Team’s plan to mobilize and setup are implemented properly prior to commencement of work.

  • Ensure the project Superintendent coordinates the 3-Week Schedule with the Master.

  • Enforce TEAM’s model with respect to Professional Presentation and Appearance prior to the project start.

  

Site Organization & Document Control:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the TEAM a Site Organization Policies and Program.

  • Develop and provide focused provide training to Superintendents and TEAM Construction that establishes clear direction and responsibility with respect to Pre-task Planning, Material Delivery and Laydown, Site Subcontractor coordination, Document Review, Schedule enforcement and Data Logging

  • Through inspection and coordination meetings, ensure that the Project Team’s construction plan is efficient, forecasted and maintained during the construction phase.

  • Ensure that internal meetings embody TEAM’s culture of leadership, mentorship, and cooperation amongst the Project Team.

  • Enforce TEAM’s professional model of cleanliness, appearance, efficiency throughout the project.

 

Quality Control Management:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the TEAM Quality Control program.

  • Develop and provide focused training to Superintendents and TEAM Construction that establishes clear direction and responsibility with respect to Quality Control.

  • Ensure Quality Control Pre-Task Planning occurs utilizing 3-Week schedules; and that, proper Document Review, Data Logging and follow-up actions are carried out.

  • Ensure that the Project Team has properly Asbuilt the site and established Benchmarks and Datums required prior to construction activity commencement.

  • Enforce and maintain TEAM’s image of excellence through the management and oversight of the Quality Control Program.

 

Schedule Generation, Logistics & Implementation:

  • Senior Superintendents are to develop, implement and maintain the TEAM Scheduling program through the implementation and execution of the following Programs:

    • Safety Program

    • Preconstruction, Activity Preplanning

    • Site Organization & Document Control

    • Quality Control Management

  • Observe 3-Week activities and corresponding Logistic Plans ensure that program specific milestones are achieved on all TEAM Construction Projects.

  • Ensure that Project Team’s plan and coordinate program specific requirements built into the schedule during preconstruction and construction phases.

  • Ensure that all safety documentation is accounted for and approved prior to commencement of activities requiring a JHA or Activity Specific plan outlined in TEAM’s Safety Program.

  • Ensure the timely completion of all TEAM projects while maintaining TEAM Company image and standards.


Software & Technical Understanding

  • MS Project / P6 – Understands program and can manage a Critical Path Method schedule

  • Excel – Thorough understanding of inter-workings of this platform

  • Planswift / OST – Demonstrates abilities to produce quantity take-offs by area

  • All Microsoft Platforms

  • Bluebeam
