About the Role

Moreover, the Controller’s key responsibilities will be as follows:

Overseeing Financial Statements

Preparing and presenting financial documents to understand the financial state of business

Monthly WIPS

Monthly Financial Forecast Meetings

Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures related to company finances.

Supervise employees who work under the controller in preparing financial reports and budgets.

Monitor a company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.

Keep up to date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profit and find new expansion areas.

Understand the financials of a company in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financials in good standing.

Coordinating and directing budgeting and financial planning.

Creating Job Budgets and Job Forecasts.

Establishing, maintaining, and oversight of financial controls of all projects.

Responsible for timely, accurate and efficient accounting close on a monthly basis.

Manage accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including invoicing, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, procurement, and general ledger accounting.

Enhances accounting department’s use of software and integrates software into accounting processes and procedures.

Assists the CFO/Owner with preparation and completion of the fiscal year taxes, evaluates business performance, and develops yearly Financial Goals.
